Proteomics involves the large-scale analysis of proteins and plays a major and growing role in the development of innovative drugs. Proteomics is also a key factor in biomarker research and the advancement of biological drugs. In both these areas, Swedish research is well-positioned at an international level.

Division of Cellular and Clinical Proteomics This division holds two tenured professors, one tenured Associate Professor, and one new research group leader, all located at the Science for Life Laboratories (SciLifeLab) in Solna. The department is located at two separate campuses, AlbaNova and SciLifeLab. The seven divisions are active in a large spectra of protein related research, both fundamental and applied.
